The Boatman/King Scholarship Foundation provides a one year, renewable $1,000.00 scholarship to two hard working students who attended the St. Louis Public Schools and showed strong values and integrity, including participation in community activities.

Eligibility Requirements

Seniors in St. Louis Public High Schools who are entering a 2 or 4 year college or other post-secondary educational program

Screening guidelines are as follows:

1. Students who have completed all parts of the application

2. Students who have at least a 2.75 G.P.A.

3. Students who have at least a score of 20 on the ACT

4. Students who are involved in community activities.

5. Students who have demonstrated financial need.

Students who are previous year’s recipients must provide an official college transcript showing a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship the following school year.

The Boatman/King Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations to the Boatman/King Scholarship Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
